I have two job interviews today. Oh boy. One is for a position I left years ago (stupidly) at another call center. It pays more, I get weekends off, and all Federal holidays I get paid for, and the day off, since it’s a Federal Government contract. It was a pretty cozy job, and I really didn’t mind it too much at all. It’s kind of funny, because it’s almost exactly six years to the day that I last interviewed for the position.
The second one is for a Pharmacy Tech position at CVS Pharmacy. I feel good about this one as with my current call center job, I did Medicare prescription drug for awhile, so I’m familiar with tons of medications as well as insurance processing. I’m certified in medication administration as well, which helps out.
We’ll see which one works out better. I haven’t worked in a direct customer-facing job in 6 years now, so that’ll take some getting used to again. I’m going to compare both jobs and see which one is the better fit for me.
Sadly though, this will probably translate to less time on here, as I won’t have internet access like I do currently, but such is the trade-off sometimes.

shame to see less time on oppo, but it sounds like you’re in a good situation being able to make choices.
